Abstract:
This is an interview with the author of the Flexible Constitution. It provides a brief summary of the book in conversational format. The book presents a new Wittgensteinian understanding of Constitutional Law and provides the most thorough philosophic critique of originalism. The book explains why originalism is an inherently flawed system of belief and why the Constitution is so flexible. The book explores new models of interpretation and ultimately concludes that constitutionality is an artisan judgment that can be rendered only by experts.
